The B-Class provides all the space and flexibility your lifestyle demands. We've significantly reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions without compromising performance. We have achieved this partly by improved aerodynamics and weight reduction.

Standard on the B-Class, these flashing lights are activated under emergency braking. This significantly reduces the reaction time of the following traffic, minimizing the risk of rear end collisions. This advances system works in harmony with the power steering to enhance control in a critical oversteer situations. It physically adjusts steering wheel response, prompting drivers to turn into the slide before it develops into a fully-fledged skid.

Sandwich Concept - In serious frontal collision this revolutionary design concept comes into its own. The engine block is deflected downwards, sliding beneath the passenger cell and keeping occupants out of harm's way.

BlueEFFICIENCY further reduces the B-Classes fuel consumption and emissions. It includes improvements to engine efficiency, aerodynamics, rolling resistance, energy management and weight.

The load compartment has a capacity of 504 litres and the car's interior can be configured in a range of ways, extending the volume to a maximum of 2,205 litres!

Official government fuel consumption figures in mpg (litres per 100km) for the B-Class range: urban 30.1(9.4)-42.2(6.7), extra urban 44.1(6.4)-64.2(4.4), combined 37.7(7.5)-54.3(5.2) CO2. emissions: 177-136 g/km.
